A residential aged care developer is being sought by the Western Australia Government to build in a prime area of Perth.
Located 20km east of Perth CBD, and with dual road frontage, the 10ha former Heidelberg Park site on Canning Road site has been made available by the City of Kalamunda to provide more aged care accommodation for the local community.
The new development will increase aged care facilities in the Perth Hills and ensure more local residents have the option to remain in their local community in the later stages of life, said the government in a press release.
This site is the latest of over 50 new aged care development opportunities that have been progressed by the WA Government through land transfers, rezonings, development approvals and land projects, with potential to deliver almost 2,000 new aged care beds across the State.
