Yesterday we had an inspection of Kevin Ryan’s next Waterbrook retirement village. We predict it will become the showcase village for the entire sector.
Located in Bowral in the Southern Highlands, 120km southwest of Sydney, it is redeveloping the site of a closed school and creating a six-star village with extraordinary community facilities.
The first two stages of three have already sold out: 54 of 56 homes with 5% deposits taken on entry price from around $1.4 million up to $2.4 million.
Ryan pioneered the premium village sector by creating his first Waterbrook at Yowie Bay (southern Sydney) around 2001 and then his second Waterbrook in Greenwich in 2007, selling the country’s first $1 million-plus village home. Both villages were acquired by Lendlease in 2015.
