Whiddon has opened the doors of the first stage of its aged care home in Redhead, in the Hunter Region of NSW.
The two-storey development offers 80 single bedrooms with ocean views across eight buildings, with separate living areas, a café, allied health spaces, hair salon, a community care hub and activity spaces.
The new stage is part of a $38 million expansion project for will have 175 residential aged care places, a dementia specific wing, clubhouse, and a bowling green.
The Whiddon Group has 19 aged care homes across NSW and Queensland, plus 12 retirement villages and eight Community Care service hubs.
