Woollam Constructions wins award for Aura Holdings’ Somerset Indooroopilly retirement village

Retirement living and aged care builder Woollam Construction triumphed at the Brisbane Master Builders Housing & Construction Awards earlier this month.

The first stage of Aura Holdings’ Somerset Indooroopilly, 7km west of the Brisbane CBD (pictured), built by Woollam Constructions and designed by Cox Architecture, was awarded the ‘Community Accommodation for Aged Care and Nursing Homes’ category.

At prices ranging from $750,000 to $1.6 million, with prices on application for the four penthouses, 80 apartments have opened in the first stage of the village, which is nestled in the landscape of the Indooroopilly Golf Club. Only 12 apartments remain for sale.

Construction began earlier this month on stage two, which is due for completion in early 2024.
