Construction is underway for Shepparton Villages’ $20 million redevelopment of its Rodney Park village, with the new site expected to house 100 residents.
The site is expected to officially open doors in February.
This is the second stage of Shepparton Villages’ redevelopment plans, which began in 2018 with the $34 million, 120-bed Maculata Place at Tarcoola.
Shepparton Villages chief executive Greg Pullen told Shepparton News the board made the decision to invest in redevelopment several years ago.
“The concern was the former facilities were not meeting contemporary standards,” Pullen said.
