RetireAustralias new CEO, Alison Quinn, was this week elected Chair of the Property Council's retirement chapter, the Retirement Living Council.
She takes over from Derek McMillan, CEO of Australian Unity Retirement, who led the merger of the Retirement Villages Association with the Property Council in 2012 and became the RLCs inaugural Chair.
Under McMillan's leadership the RLC invested in advocacy at a Federal level for affordable seniors housing accommodation and improved research into the retirement village sector.
Quinns role at RetireAustralia follows three years as Executive General Manager at Aveo, responsible for all operations and sales. She has a long history of volunteering for major infrastructure boards, including Chair of Urban Renewal for Brisbane City Council, Chair of Brisbane Powerhouse and Director of UDIA (QLD).
