An update to yesterday’s story on the law firm’s potential class action against the Not For Profit over the deaths of 19 Newmarch House residents during its recent coronavirus outbreak.
Shine has removed a line from their original press statement which had said that the virus had been brought into the home after a staff member who was sick came to work multiple times after displaying symptoms.
Anglicare says that this is factually incorrect and the staff member did not knowingly working with symptoms.
We have now updated our original story to reflect this.
