The NSW Not For Profit has acquired the Star Gardens’ aged care facility and Star Community Care in Beaudesert, 70km south of Brisbane.

Whiddon Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chris Mamarelis said their commitment to providing aged care services in regional, rural and remote locations and their existing network in northern NSW made it an easy decision to make.

Whiddon has 18 aged care facilities, 12 retirement villages and eight Community Care service hubs located across NSW.

They join other aged care providers including IRT, RSL Care QLD and Churches of Christ QLD in moving into areas outside of their traditional catchment areas.
