The facade of Bolton Clarke’s first venture into Victoria – Europa on Alma in St Kilda, 6km south-east of Melbourne CBD – has been unveiled.

The site on Alma Road was the headquarters for the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) for 20 years. The RDNS merged with RSL Care Queensland in 2015 and it became Bolton Clarke, in honour of healthcare pioneers William Kinsey Bolton and Janet Clarke, two years later.

Europa on Alma offers 81 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from $480,000 to $1.385 million.

Bolton Clarke will offer its home support and nursing services into the units as people age. There will be a hotel-style concierge service for daily tasks such as dog walking and booking for the on-site share car.

It boasts a Sky Room on its fourth floor rooftop with expansive views. There are barbecue facilities and a herb garden. There is an in-house cinema and a swimming pool.

Work is on schedule to welcome the first residents in spring.
