Assured Home Loans founder to turn mansion into Over 55s living
Gary Williams and his wife Lorelie put Yatahlia Manor, an Adelaide mansion on a 2.8-hectare estate, on the market for $12 million four years ago.
Now the couple have revealed they intend to turn the mansion and estate in Yatala Vale, an outer northeastern rural suburb of Adelaide, into a luxury country club-style residential park with 30 boutique homes for Over 55s, and a cinema, gym and pool.

Under a $40 million plan, the eight-bedroom mansion would become a communal hub for residents with space for billiards, sewing, a private cinema, wellness activities and other events.

It would feature exclusive access to a magnesium pool, gymnasium, therapy rooms, resident’s bar and a communal dining area.
The wider property would have 22 two-bedroom villas, five three-bedroom NDIS-certified homes, two one-bedroom villas, and one larger four-bedroom villa.

Gary, the founder of Assured Home Loans, said the residential park would be perfect for “professional and business owners to established homeowners”.
“This isn’t about downsizing, it’s about elevating the way people live,” he said.
