Australian Elected to International Aged Care Board

1 min read

Australian aged care CEO Glenn Bunney has been elected by the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing (IAHSA) as its Vice President.

IAHSA is the peak international industry organisation for aged care providers with members all around the globe. Glenn, a previous President of Aged & Community Services Australia, was elected after serving as a Director for the last five years.

Mr. Bunney said: “I was very humbled and appreciative of the support that I received from my international colleagues, and also the recognition that such an election gives to the status of the Australian aged care industry in their eyes. The quality and level of service provided in this country is the envy of much of the rest of the world, although as if so often the case, this is not recognised in our own back yard.”

Glenn is the CEO of Sunshine Coast-based community organisation Sundale, which enjoys a strong reputation for high quality services with a particular focus on older disadvantaged Australians
