Brisbane property developer Pesdev Group sells one of two approved projects in QLD

Pesdev Group has sold one of two approved residential aged care projects in Queensland.

The Brisbane-based property developer, which has approval to build four major RAC homes in the State, wanted to offload two of the approved sites – a 93-bed high care centre in Beerwah, 80km north of Brisbane’s CBD, and a 108-bed aged care home in Gympie, about 160km north of Brisbane’s CBD.

Colliers International manager Baydn Dodds said the Gympie centre was “still on the market”.

“The owner is currently considering their options in relation to the site,” he said.

Last month, Lutheran Services Queensland bought Cooinda Aged Care Centre in Gympie and in August, South Australian-based company Miroma bought a proposed 100-bed Southside nursing home development in the town for $1.1 million.
