The Not For Profit has opened its 42nd aged care home, the Holy Spirit in Casula, 34km southwest of Sydney, six months after the originally slated opening date of spring 2020.

It will cater to 144 residents with a total of 124 standard rooms and 20 dementia specific rooms in a Memory Support Wing.

24/7 registered nursing support will also be available on site to address any resident’s needs or concerns.

“Our Home will keep you active and engaged and we help our residents remain connected to their community,” Residential Manager Elaine McRory said.

The RAD for a standard private room and a dementia specific room are both $700,000.

Ms Melanie Gibbons MP, Member for Holsworthy said the new development was a welcome addition to an ageing community, with more than 20% of the population aged over 65.

“Holy Spirit will fulfil this need. It is a beautiful, classy home where staff are committed to treating residents, clients and each other with respect and dignity,” Ms Gibbons said.
