CEO Ray Glickman resigns from Amana Living for new adventures

1 min read

The highly regarded CEO of WA’s Amana Living, Ray Glickman, has announced his resignation after 12 years in that position.

He joined Amana from the role of CEO of the City of Freemantle and when it was known as Anglican Homes.

Within 24 months the organisation had rebranded as the more contemporary Amana Living – the first major not-for-profit care operator to identify the need to reposition with a more progressive corporate identity.

(‘Amana’ comes from the Bible. It conveys trustworthiness or faithfulness -1 Samuel 2:35, Isaiah 8:2).

Ray is also a national board director of ACSA as well as a Member of the Statutory Planning Committee for the Western Australian Planning Commission

He says he is looking to the next phase in his life and is establishing a consulting business called From Left Field. He has also just completed his second novel following the commercial success of this 2014 book.
