The final tower at Phil Usher’s first private aged care venture on Queensland’s Gold Coast, which began in 2020, is taking shape.

An additional 68 apartments add to the community, developed in consultation with residents. The eight-storey building, titled Biarritz, is scheduled for completion later this year.

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities CEO and Founder Phil says “Apartments in the new stage will include a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom options as well as another Memory Lane section, which is a dedicated space for seniors with memory issues.”

“We’ll be adding a lot more amenity in Biarritz to promote a greater variety of activities and build on our sense of community by expanding socialisation spaces.”

Biarritz will connect with one of the existing towers, Malibu, via a semi enclosed skybridge.

Building company Mettle has been appointed to construct the 18-month project.
