Crighton Properties planned $72 million retirement village at Mudgee has hit a road block due to concerns over drainage. The Mid Western Council has deferred approval for the proposed 205 dwelling retirement village. The council has asked Crighton for an alternative drainage plan before the development is considered at a full council meeting. The proposed Spring Flat Road village will have a swimming pool, gymnasium and croquet lawns for use by not only village residents but the general public as well.
