Leading aged services Australia (LASA) has established a partnership with the not-for-profit Governance Institute of Australia to deliver a national series of workshops tailored for the aged care sector.
The training is for directors, company secretaries, risk managers and other senior and middle level managers.
It will provide the tools and questions to refine and strengthen the governments of organisations.
LASA CEO Sean Rooney says “it is essential that boards of aged care providers have the right governance and risk management frameworks to give them a clear eye view of the associated risks that come with these challenges, including the potential for conflicts of interest or neglecting a duty of care”.
The workshops will be offered in:
- Adelaide – Tuesday 4th December
- Brisbane – Tuesday 4th December
- Perth – Tuesday 4th December
- Melbourne – Friday 7th December
- Sydney – Tuesday 11th December
