The Hope Island community on the Gold Coast will feature in the upcoming Foxtel drama television series, The End, which tells the story of an Australian-based doctor who brings her estranged mother out from England to live in a lifestyle community.
Produced by Foxtel and Sky UK by the Academy-Award winning producer See-Saw Films, filming will run until February, with several shoots inside two homes, the pool and Leisure Club, the library, Lakehouse, Celebration Park and the Secret Garden and residents taking on roles as extras.
