Macquarie Bank joins US lawyer to launch five star aged care in China

1 min read

Macquarie is investing $16M in a new aged care business, China Senior Care, created by Mark Spitalnik (pictured) an American lawyer based in China for 17 years working with US healthcare companies.

Expressing extreme caution, Spitalnik has taken three years to establish the business; the first 64 bed care facility will open next year. Only when that has been successful will they have an aggressive expansion plan targeting top end affluent Chinese with rents at $10,000 a month per bed.
