The Not For Profit provider has proposed a new aged care home and retirement village for Middle Swan, 25km from the Perth CBD, after purchasing the 4.7ha site from Boral.

The first stage of the development will be a 100-bed aged-care facility specialising in dementia care, followed by a staged 160-unit retirement living development.

Masonic Care WA CEO Marie-Louise MacDonald (pictured) is expanding and redeveloping its portfolio which includes nine retirement villages, 10 rental accommodation villages and one aged care home.

Recently they sold a social housing village in Coolbellup that was no longer viable, plus assets in Brookton and Waroona.
