Eurobodalla residents have been vocal with their need for more aged services in the area for well over a year. And, then an election was announced and their pleas have suddenly been heard. If Labor is returned to federal power they have promised funding for five projects in the Eurobodalla, $12m for a 20-bed rehabilitation and aged care unit at Moruya. More than $850 000 has also been promised for four projects in Pambula and Bega. The Coalition has promised the region $3m in funding for a transitional care wing at Pambula Hospital and $1m for refurbishments and upgrades at Bega.
