RSL Care + RDNS is now one of our largest independent health and retirement providers, with over 100,000 community care clients receiving over four million home care visits a year, plus more than 5,000 village and aged care residents across Australia.
The leading Not for Profit was created when the two providers merged in October 2015. They have now acquired the Your Choice home care provider in Sydney and the NewAccess mental health team in SA.
Founded as a private home care provider in 2008, Your Choice is based in Leichhardt in Sydneys inner west. RSL Care + RDNS started delivering its services in November.
The organisation has also acquired the 10-member team of NewAccess coaches from UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide. They began providing its program, developed by beyondblue, in December.
RSL Care + RDNS have also picked up the privately owned Broadwater Gardens retirement village in NSWs Port Macquarie, 400km north of Sydney. The village has 42 freestanding homes and four apartments.
