23-storey seniors housing tower planned for this site

The office block fronting the Pacific Highway in Chatswood, 10km north of Sydney’s CBD, has been up for sale.
Now Delhij Ptd Limited and Imadli Pty Ltd have lodged a State Significant Development to build a 23-storey building with 147 independent living retirement units, ground floor commercial and 10% affordable housing on the site in Chatswood.
The applicants are also seeking a rezoning application to allow seniors housing.
Since 1 July 2024, the NSW Government has approved 18 State Significant seniors housing developments, representing more than 2,000 independent living units, almost 1,440 residential aged care beds and 33 affordable seniors housing dwellings.
These spent on average only 112 days in Government hands, which include exhibition periods.
