Salvation Army Aged Care Plus acquires UK’s Dementia Care Matters

1 min read

The Not For Profit has bought the leading dementia care culture change organisation, which operates in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and the US – a considerable international investment for the provider.

Under the changeover, Dementia Care Matters will continue operating out of the UK, with Aged Care Plus’ Executive Manager of Care Services, Peter Bewert to relocate there in March as CEO.

Aged Care Plus was the first Australian provider to launch Dementia Care Matters’ award-winning ‘Butterfly Household Model of Care’ in July 2016. It has since been rolled out to three of its aged care facilities and will now be expanded to all 16 across NSW, the ACT and QLD.
