Paying $45.8 million, Stockland has acquired 100 ha adjacent to its current Highlands residential community in Craigieburn, which will generate 1,200 new lots on top of the existing 3,800 Highlands project, which began in 2004. The new site will include schools, child care, a shopping centre and a retirement village, with first settlements expected in 2013/4.
