“This is not just a care home, it’s a thoughtfully designed, inclusive space that puts residents at the centre of a connected, vibrant community,” said Infinite Care CEO Luke Greive.
“It’s going to bring a lot of retirees to the town – a bit of independent wealth, rather than just another housing development,” said Whittam Livestock owner Chris Whittam.
The project was classified as a State Significant Development because the development is for the purpose of seniors housing.
When the first sod was turned on the project for 11 additional retirement units, the capital cost was $7.8 million.
