All 33 villas and 47 apartments at the Illawarra-based provider’s new flagship project were snapped up during the two week Expressions of Interest (EOI) period, with 90 EOIs received for the 33 villas.
The villas were initially priced from $535,000 to $590,000 and the apartments from $445,000 to $680,000, but since then they have achieved sales of $750,000 for three-bedroom villas and $725,000 for three-bedroom apartments.
The waitlist for the villas has also grown from 200 to almost 400, while the waiting list for the apartments is nearly 300.
In total, Warrigal’s total waitlist has now increased from 954 to 1,674 – a huge 75%.
With the first residents due to move into the almost-complete development, which also includes a 128-bed aged care facility, later this year, Warrigal says they are now planning a fourth stage in response to the demand.
Warrigal has 11 locations and over 1,000 staff across NSW and the ACT.
