Local developer Hans Ehmann had put forward plans for a seven-storey retirement living development at Queen’s Wharf under the State Government’s now-scrapped scheme for aged care projects valued at more than $20M.
Mr Ehmann’s project was the only application left undecided according to a spokesperson for Planning Minister John Rau, who is now seeking advice from the Crown Solicitor on how to deal with the application.
The point is that this development has been cobbled by consumer advocacy action against other developments. Collateral damage.
