Sundale, which has been providing care for seniors in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast since 1963, has lost its CEO Danielle Mackenzie.

“After four remarkable years at Sundale, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the organisation,” she said on LinkedIn.

“I am immensely proud of what my team and I were able to achieve during this period, including the transformation of Sundale’s culture, the implementation of best practice care ratios, and the creation of a strategy which will ensure the organisation’s future for the next 40 years.

“On a personal note, I also want to recognise and say thank you to Sundale’s amazing and resilient carers, nurses, health professionals and team members who continue to defy the odds by delivering wonderful care to the organisation’s residents and clients.”

Not For Profit Sundale is transforming its care, to provide medical, respite and dementia care, as well as support to home maintenance, cleaning, transport and a range of emotional, social and wellbeing services.
