Another multi-storey ‘vertical village’ going up in Adelaide’s suburbs

1 min read

SA-based property developer Winwest wants to build three four-storey buildings and one six-storey building housing 70 retirement units at Aldinga Beach, 45km south of the Adelaide CBD – a site only zoned for buildings up to just three storeys high according to the local council.

The application is currently being considered by the State’s Development Assessment Commission, and if approved, the $46.8M Latitude development will be the tallest in the area.

The site would also feature retail, allied health services and apartments.

Adelaide has had a record number of high-rise retirement living developments put forward in recent times including a 20-storey, 800-unit village and aged care development that we reported on here.
