Aveo opens the doors on billion-dollar Springfield village in QLD

The first stage of the 15-plus year development was officially opened last week by Aveo Group Chairman Seng Huang Lee and QLD Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.

Located at Springfield, a master-planned community being built 21km from Ipswich and 33km from the Brisbane CBD, the 10ha site will eventually be Australia’s largest retirement village with over 2,500 units.

There has already been strong interest from locals, with over 80 per cent of sales enquiries for the 66 apartments in the first stage – priced from $298,000 to over $709,000 – coming from Ipswich residents.
