The Not For Profit retirement and aged care provider has revealed plans for its latest retirement village next to its aged care home in Mooroolbark, 31km northeast of Melbourne.

St. John’s Rise will feature 131 units with open plan living and a 6+star energy rating plus a vegetable garden for residents and outdoor dining areas.

Benetas General Manager of Strategy, Infrastructure and Housing, Bruce Webb, said the village was designed to promote people’s life-long appetite for community and nature.

“Like all of our developments, we will be focusing on building a strong community, while taking the extra effort to integrate with the local clubs, health centres and businesses wherever we can,” Mr Webb said.

Construction is set to begin during the 2020/21 summer season.
