Bolton Clarke gets green light for $16M three-storey development at Tweed Heads retirement village after court battle with council

1 min read

The 66 aged care rooms at the Darlington retirement village in Banora Point will go ahead after a $40,000 appeal by Tweed Council was rejected by the judge, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports.

The Council had knocked back the final stage of the village in September last year after village residents lobbied councillors to refuse the project because there was not enough car parks, the building would shadow their homes and they would lose out on their investment.

Good point.
