Calvary Healthcare has opened its Caulfield continuum-of-care precinct in Melbourne, and has so far sold around half of the units in its Hyson Apartments retirement village.

Comprising 69 one-, two- and three-bedroom units, Hyson Apartments is built across 11 floors and billed as having “features rivalling those of a five-star hotel”; according to Calvary National Director Strategy & Service Development, Vanessa Janissen. 33 of the 69 apartments have been contracted as of last week.

“Apartments are priced between $640,000 and $2,185,000. Residents have the option to participate in a fixed or variable exit fee structure,” she told The Weekly SOURCE.

The $154 million precinct in Caulfield South includes the Hyson Apartments as well as the Huntly Suites aged care home and the Calvary Bethlehem hospital. Home care and health services, including GPs, are also on offer in the precinct.

Vanessa Janissen will feature on the cover of this week’s issue of SATURDAY magazine, out 4 February. Read the full story in this week’s issue of SATURDAY – subscribe here.
