Catalyst Education announces short courses for aged care on OpenLearing’s platform

1 min read

Catalyst Education, which has been bought by For Purpose Investment Partners, has developed new short courses designed to re-think leadership through care and compassion, in collaboration with OpenLearning.

“We have created two compassion-led leadership modules to support emerging leaders in the care services, specifically in the aged care space and early childhood education and care where we operate, which will be hosted on the OpenLearning platform,” Catalyst Education CEO, Jo Asquith (pictured above) said.

“While these courses are open to any individual, we believe they will resonate with those working in the aged care and early learning sectors. As an ageing nation, the future of our country is dependent on the leadership of highly qualified and highly competent aged care and early childhood educators – which is why they are exceptional candidates for these courses.

“Using the OpenCreds Micro-credential Framework, this is our first foray into micro-credentialing, which are stand-alone credentials designed to provide value to students independently from their formal qualifications.”
