Growing land lease provider Stockland has started construction of the $6M clubhouse in its $132 million over-50s development Thrive Nirimba in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, 90km north of Brisbane CBD.

Designed by award-winning architects DC8 Studios, the 1,100 square metre clubhouse will be built by Mainbrace. The Club is expected to be completed early 2022.

The land lease community is located within Stockland’s $5 billion Aura community near Caloundra.

“The new clubhouse is a modern take on the traditional Queenslander with sweeping outdoor verandas leading from internal social spaces overlooking the Sunshine Coast’s best backyard. It will offer residents a community-focused, luxurious space to relax and socialise with friends and family – with an indoor cinema, wellness centre with heated swimming pool, spa and gym, entertainer kitchen and bar, alfresco kitchen area with pizza ovens and BBQ facilities, bowling green and so much more,” said Stockland General Manager of Land Lease Communities, Kingsley Andrew.

Stockland’s Thrive Nirimba is set within the 2,400-hectare masterplanned community of Aura, with access to more than 200km of walking and cycle paths which safely connects the residents to a network of shops and facilities. Once completed, the community will offer 244 homes and modern community facilities.
