COTA partners with research group to survey 5,000 Australians on aged care

Council on the Ageing (COTA) Australia, in partnership with Catalyst Research, has launched its inaugural aged care industry study.

The aim of the national study is to build an understanding of what people are looking for when choosing an aged care home.

“Older Australians want more choice and control and more diverse options when choosing their aged care. We need industry to invest in different services, and this research will give them the certainty to invest,” said Ian Yates AM, COTA Australia Chief Executive.

The study’s capacity is to gather feedback from over 5,000 Australians – those currently living in residential aged care, their families, and those considering it for the future.

The survey can be accessed via cota.org.au/cota-research.
