Ms Fisher will take the reins at the in-home health and aged care provider after serving as Chief executive of Victoria’s Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since 2013.
With extensive experience in the health sector, she was also inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll in 2011, recognised as one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence in 2013 and named a Distinguished Fellow of Monash University last year.
While Silver Chain’s head office is based in Perth, Ms Fisher will stay in Victoria after she takes up the role in December.
