Excellence in aged care awards from LASA and HESTA are open for nominations

Nominations for the LASA Excellence in Age Services and the HESTA Excellence Awards 2021 are both now open.

Both awards recognise excellence within the aged care industry over the previous year, an especially difficult year given the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nominations for the HESTA awards opened on 8 March and will close on 2 May before finalists are announced on 27 July and the winners awarded on 25 August.

The HESTA award categories are for Eligible Sectors, Outstanding Organisation and Team Excellence and nominations can be made here.

Meanwhile, the LASA award nominations opened on 1 February and will close on 21 July before state winners are announced online on 7 August before a national awards presentation at the National Congress later in the year.

The LASA categories are for Organisation, Team, Individual, Rising Star and Next Gen Leader.

All LASA nominations must be made via the official online nomination portal.
