Expressions of Interest to participate in Single In-Home Care Program study are being sought

1 min read

The Federal Government’s Department of Health is seeking Expressions of Interest from at least 50 in-home aged care providers and eight residential aged care providers across Australia.

The 50 aged care providers will help inform the development of the Assessment, Classification, and Funding model which will form the basis of the new Single In-Home Care Program, an indication the Government is looking to achieve major recommendations around home care.

In November 2019, the Australian Government announced its intention to establish a Single In-Home Care Program to deliver a more streamlined system of care.

The program will replace the CHSP, HCP and STRC programs, as well as potentially adding new services to the program scope.
