Landmark Homes and Properties to lodge DA for retirement village in Adelaide

Designs for a retirement village will be developed next week to go with a masterplan for a multi-storey village on a 3.4ha site in Panorama, 10km from Adelaide’s CBD, which has gone on public display.

Landmark Homes and Properties has submitted the masterplan plans for ‘Panorama Village’, which would house a retail outlet, office spaces and a childcare centre. The construction company’s Steven Michos said a residential and retirement living component would be added shortly.

“The plans are being designed and developed next week,” he said.

The village has three separate buildings and the residential and retirement building is a fourth building.

The site was sold to Bunnings for $7.81 million in 2014 after the SA Government relocated classes to a new TAFE campus in the former Mitsubishi factory at Tonsley.

Plans for the $42 million hardware store were rejected by Mitcham Council in 2017, leading Bunnings to put the property back on the market at the end of 2020.
