The WA-based developer and property investor has delivered the first stage of Edenlife Australind, a $10 million land lease community around 160km south of Perth.

The site will have 204 homes when complete.

As we reported here, the 8.3ha community is just one of a number of communities the brand is planning to develop in prime locations across the state.

Lester Group Director Russell Lester says the land lease model is continuing to mature, and more Australians are starting to catch on.

“Land lease communities or modular home estates have grown rapidly in the east with this type of development proving to be much more popular than traditional retirement villages. This practical and affordable offering provides legislated security of tenure and oversight by State and Local Governments,” he says.

“In the East, they have developed into real community assets, catering to the needs of in the second half of their life, while making it easier for them to maintain an active and independent lifestyle as they grow older.”
