Lifestyle Communities splashes $10M on 190-home site in south Geelong

The land lease developer has purchased the site at Villawood Properties’ award-winning Armstrong Estate in Armstrong Creek, 85km southwest of Melbourne.

It’s the second site the land lease developer has bought from Villawood and will be its 14th in VIC.

Lifestyle Communities already has one site in north Geelong, but Managing Director James Kelly says they have been searching for a site in south Geelong for several years to target its growing ‘baby boomer’ generation.

The median house price is around $490,000, and one in three of the 77,000 people in the area are aged over 50.
