Local council has officially given the greenlight for the first stage of the new project between Living Choice and Flagstaff Hill Golf Club (pictured – 17.5 kilometres south of the Adelaide CBD).

The first stage comprises 42 villas which will be built on part of the golf club’s land on the old practice fairway.

The retirement living provider has also submitted plans for the second stage, which is set to include a new, multi-million-dollar clubhouse and apartments.

The new project will be Living Choice’s 12th retirement village across NSW, QLD and SA.

At the ground-breaking ceremony, Living Choice directors Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs also presented a $100,000 donation to Youth Opportunities – a charity that provides a Personal Leadership Program for youth who need extra support.

Both Mr Tregoning and Mr Hobbs are long-term sponsors of Youth Opportunities and have contributed a total estimated $1 million, including personal donations.

“The support we provide to YO is on behalf of all our staff, clients and customers, but it also brings incredible personal satisfaction to Graham and myself”, said Mr Tegoning.

“We have spent the better part of our lives making investments and this is perhaps one of the most rewarding. To have such a long-term and positive impact on the lives of young South Australians is an incredible honour.”
