Location, location, location: Stockland offers first look at clubhouse at $63M Birtinya retirement village on Sunshine Coast

The village, which will feature 140 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, is located in the $5 billion Oceanside Health Precinct, with the first residents expected to move in next month.

They will have plenty to keep themselves busy apart from the clubhouse. The village is surrounded by 11km of cycle and walking paths, while Stockland’s $87 million Birtinya Shopping Centre currently under development is just 1.5km away.

Set to open in December, its first stage will include Coles and Aldi supermarkets, an open-air dining precinct, 32 retailers and 522 car parking spaces.

The new Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital are also only a short distance away and Opal’s new 151-bed aged care facility is located adjacent to the village.

Its homes are priced from $329,000 for a one-bedroom apartment plus study.
