The property group has looked to its own ranks to fill the boots left by Tony Randello, who is moving to CEO at Aveo, commencing in January.

Nathan Cockerill (pictured above) has been appointed as Managing Director of Lendlease’s Retirement Living division after six years as a member of the Retirement Living executive leadership team, most recently as Executive General Manager Finance where he oversaw the finance operations of its 75-village portfolio and development pipeline.

In this role, Nathan also led the introduction of Lendlease’ new contract choices launched in 2018.

Before joining Lendlease, Nathan spent 12 years at GE Capital, Australia and New Zealand, working across a number of roles including as Chief Operating Officer.

As we covered here, he will also be ‘steering the ship’ as the developer continues the hunt for a partner to buy out a further 50% of its retirement living portfolio after selling a 25% stake to Dutch pension fund APG in 2017.
