Mercy Health building $8M co-located retirement village in Bendigo – up to 176 units

The Not For Profit’s $8 million development will see 21 new independent units and a community hub built alongside its Mercy Health Bethlehem aged care home.

Plans for the development – due to be completed in September – began in 2016.

“It’s been a long time in the making. We had land a long time and wanted to develop independent living units here. If (initial) sales go well, and indications are that they will, we can look at going to 176 units on the site,” Mercy Health Group CEO Stephen Cornelissen said.
