1 min read

The local paper is reporting staff at St John’s Anglican Church in Camden, 65km southwest of the Sydney CBD, are “thrilled” with the private provider’s offer to purchase the 1.3ha site which includes vacant land neighbouring the church and its historic rectory.

Its minister Rev Tony Galea said the sale will allow the church to move forward with plans to build a secondary, “contemporary worship centre” on their grounds.

The Group’s managing director Peter Moran adds that they are committed to restoring the rectory to its “former glory”.

Founded in 1956, Moran Health Care Group is one of our longest-running family-run operators with four facilities in NSW and Victoria, and a fifth 150-bed facility Moran Belconnen on the University of Canberra’s Bruce campus due to open in 2019.
