The private operator has opened the doors on its 123-bed Opal Wallarah Point home in Toukley, roughly 40kms north of Gosford.
Opal HealthCare’s Regional General Manager NSW Northern Marie Barter says the new facility will grow its presence in the region, where it already operates homes in Norah Head, Kanwal, Killarney Vale and Berkeley Vale.
“We believe staying connected to our local community is essential to providing the best care for our residents,” she said.
“Our aim is for our residents to participate in community life and maintain meaningful relationships with family and loved ones.”
