Launching with an eight-level community of 148 apartments, leisure centre and childcare 100 metres from the Robina Town Centre (SE QLD), Usher is building on his Tall Trees experience – three villages acquired by Freedom.
Providing assisted-living under a retirement village contract, Usher is widely regarded as a personally committed, hands-on village operator.
He says the model “is built around a resort style environment where couples can stay together, pets are welcome, grandkids can have sleepovers, and most importantly your dignity and independence are highly respected. We’re really a perfect hybrid of retirement and aged care”.
